Bryan and Nancy Martin are certified, AKC Registered professional dog show handlers, based out of Vernon Hills, Illinois.
Dogs, dog shows, and dog handling are their passion.
Bryan and Nancy travel throughout the continental
United States and across the globe, presenting dogs of all breeds in both National and International competitions - averaging more than 150 shows every
year. Both of these very talented and experienced handlers have earned the highest of honors in the sport of purebred dogs, achieving multiple Specialty and All-Breed Best in Show wins at many of the most prestigious shows throughout United States and in global competition.

Bryan and Nancy are very proud of the following honor awarded by the American Kennel Club at the AKC/Eukanuba Championship Dog Show on December 17th, 2011 -
"The American Kennel Club Registered Handlers Program applauds Bryan Martin, Recipient of the 2011 AKC Registered Handler of the Year Award.
Nominated by his peers, and selected by the Field Team of the RHP, Bryan has continuously stepped above and beyond as a member of the Registered Handlers Program, and in his role and a Regional Representative he embodies the character and professionalism desired in our membership."

On May 12, 2010, the American Kennel Club began offering a new conformation title, the Grand Champion, which was made available to AKC Champions of record. 27-29 January - It is a Hound Group 1 win for Tiger, the Basset Hound, on Saturday at the Chain O'Lakes Kennel Club show in Grayslake, Illinois! Congratulations to Dr. Claudia Orlandi and Claire Steidel on this fantastic win for Tiger. Aston, the Samoyed, and Mimi, the Japanese Chin, are also in the Group ribbons, with "major" wins earned by numerous class dogs throughout the weekend. Having a great time with all the dogs at a show so close to the home base! What a treat!

21-22 January - What an exciting weekend in Des Moines, Iowa!! Nancy and Aston, the Samoyed, complete his Championship title with a 3 point major win, going on to earn Best of Breed and a Working Group 1 win, with another Group 1 win on Sunday!! Congratulations to owner Richard Litszinger on Aston's fantastic weekend!
It is another good weekend for Bryan and Tiger, the Basset Hound, as they bring home Hound Group 2 and Hound Group 3 placements. Nancy and Mimi earn Toy Group 2 and Group 3 placements as well.
Another Championship title is earned for Jeanne Heger Pomeranians, this time Ophelia had the honors. Congratulations to everyone on a successful weekend in Iowa!!

14-15 January - From the Saturday show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Bryan and Tiger, the Basset Hound, bring home Hound Group 2 and Group 3 placementa for both Saturday and Sunday! Gilbey, the Irish Red and White Setter, takes the Sporting Group 3 rosette while Nancy and Mimi, the Japanese Chin, earn a Toy Group 4 rosette. Certainly was a great weekend in Wisconsin!! |
07-08 January - Bryan and Tiger, the Basset Hound, begin the 2012 show year with back to back Hound Group placements - a Hound Group 4 and a Hound Group 3 at the Land O'Lakes Kennel Club show in Minnesota. This is a wonderful start for the young Basset Hound! Watch for more to come from Tiger!
And there are major wins inthe classes for Aston, the Samoyed, and Addie, the Flat-Coated Retriever! What a great weekend!

06 January - Showing today at the various "Group" Specialty shows in St. Paul where Mimi starts off 2012 with s Group 2 placement at the North Star Toy Dog Club show. Scout, the Leonberger, earns his first Best of Breed win of the year at the Northstar Working Group Association show, and Smokey, the Polish Lowland Sheepdog wins Breed honors at the North Star Herding Group Club. Great wins to begin the new show season! |

14-18 December - Bryan and Nancy are spending some time in the great weather of Orlando, Florida, while attending a few single shows before the AKC Eukanuba weekend and Yahoo and Oblong pick up a few very solid Breed wins along the way!
At the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship Dog Show, Bryan and Nancy had a fantastic couple of days. Bryan and Yahoo earn Best of Breed honors! Congratulations to owners Joan Urban, Claudia Orlandi, Claire Steidel, and Aaron Costilla!
Bryan and Luna, the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, owned by Leslie Hettinger and James Jeffrey, earn the 1st Award of Excellence in the Breed competition. What a thrill for Luna's owners!
Nancy and Sydney, the Tibetan Terrier, earn 2nd Award of Excellence honors for owners Brenda Alger and Nikki Kinziger. Congratulations on a fantastic win for Sydney and her owners!

10-11 December - A quick change of location to Rosemont, Illinois, for the last two days of the show weekend. Mimi continues with her string of winning the Toy Group rosettes, with Wicket and Sydney also bring home the Group ribbons!
There is a new Champion Portuguese Water Dog for owners Ben and Christine Schull, as Lillie completes her title this weekend. Congratulations to the Schull family on their first Champion! |
08-09 December - Wheaton, Illinois, is always a good luck show site, and this weekend at the Starved Rock Kennel Club there are some very nice wins to share. Mimi, the Japanese Chin, takes the honors in the Toy Group with a Group 1 win! Marty, the Pomeranian, follows Mimi into the winners lineup with a Toy Group 3 placement. A great weekend for the Toys! |
03-04 December - Bryan and Nancy have a successful weekend in Kankakee, Illinois, with multiple Group placements including a Hound Group 1 win for Yahoo and a new Championship title for Katie the Leonberger!! Congratulations to Virginia Bartholomay on her fourth Champion titled Leonberger this year. |
